Cosmetics Online was launched in May 2018 with 8 brands and 650 products listed initially sales were minimal. In August 2018 Cosmetics Online enlisted Direct Light’s services with objective to establish the brand online, open up online as a sales channel and support their phased expansion.
Direct Light worked with the Cosmetics Online team to gain an understanding of the different brands that would be available on their website. After a number of works shops the two teams put together an effective plan to re-launch Cosmeticsonline.ie
The next step was to tackle the websites SEO, the Direct Light implemented an ongoing SEO strategy that has since proved effective. 40% of sales are attributed to organic website traffic.
Direct Light relaunched Cosmetics Online on Black Friday, November 2018 after a website revamp, Optimising the website for search and implementing a social media campaign.
